I felt a deep sadness a few days before the wedding when I tested positive for COVID-19. For a moment, I thought I might not be able to photograph the wedding. After careful timing and recovery, a huge weight was lifted, as I was fully recovered the day before the wedding.

Mónica and João once again shared their usual joy and energy with everyone. This time, after two years since our first meeting and a few postponements, they were joined by their beautiful daughter, Francisca.

The civil ceremony took place at Quinta das Silveiras, surrounded by many guests and, as I always love, plenty of children filling the day with movement and laughter.

I spent the day running from side to side to make sure no moment was missed, whether it was the taller guests or the smallest ones, every detail mattered.

Without a doubt, it was a wonderful and emotional wedding day.
