Ana Sofia and Pedro, one from the south and the other from the north, chose Coimbra as the place for their wedding at Quinta das Lágrimas.
I always love going back to this venue. It is truly special. Even though it is located in the city of Coimbra, once inside the estate it feels like being in a forest, completely removed from everything.
The civil ceremony took place indoors, a last minute plan B due to the rain that arrived unexpectedly. Still, the atmosphere remained calm and meaningful.
Shortly after, the sun came out and we moved into the gardens, following the light. The cocktail hour was full of energy, with a live band creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere that I absolutely loved.
At the end, the cake was decorated at the last minute by a family member, adding a very personal and heartfelt touch to the day.
A beautiful wedding in Coimbra, full of contrasts, emotion and genuine moments.
