Hi, I'm Nuno!
I am a photographer and I am very sensible to the details, lights, colors, shapes.
I love life and nature, so I love hiking and travelling.
I look for balance in my yoga practice and cinema is my greatest source of inspiration.

It was in 2006 that I started photographing weddings and discovered that my greatest passion is to photograph people. I love seeing them being themselves and living special moments with those they love the most. So, I interfere as little as possible when photographing, simply reporting the day in a purely documental style.
And, if it is true that I love to photograph moments as special as a wedding day or a pregnancy, I’ve also been developing more a more a passion for photographing those very normal moments, just like the troubled day-to-day life of a family, for example. It is impressive the beauty we can find in even the simplest moments. That’s why I want to catch those moments, and make them live forever, so that they can be revisited and remembered countless times, for the rest of your lives.
From the powerful emotions of a wedding day to the intimate scenes of everyday family life, my work is a visual testimony to the authentic moments that unfold in front of me. Free of poses and artifice, my aim is to capture the true essence of people and stories, as they are, as they live and as they feel. This leads to photo sets that perpetuate truly genuine memories.
The essence of my work lies in a deeper purpose than simply achieving a single spectacular image. What I'm looking for is a set of unique images, a narrative, so that anyone who looks at of of my works, as a whole, can really immerse themselves in the exciting moments and stories that I have the honour of witnessing and recording.
In all my work, I try to be very discreet and to intervene the less possible during the day. I try to prevent my presence from disturbing the moments or the way people are living them. I make sure that my presence doesn't disturb moments or alter the way people are experiencing them.
It is very difficult for me to identify with any particular style. Although I consider my work some kind of photo-journalism, as I simply portray what is happening, the truth is that my vision, the way I choose to frame things and the things I choose to pay attention to, result in a very subjective work, but always very spontaneous and natural. I'd say I'm a documentary photographer.
