As I try to write something about Laura and Hameed’s destination wedding in the Azores, I already find myself missing it.

The Azores, with its extraordinary landscapes, had everything to make this day special and unique. However, it quickly became clear that it is not a myth to experience all four seasons in one day, challenging, without a doubt.

From long moments under heavy rain and thick fog that made it impossible to see where we were, to brief appearances of shy sunlight, and even moments when the mist slowly opened like a curtain, it was truly magical.

From the beautiful Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Paz, we moved to the greenhouse of the Jardim Botânico José do Canto, a truly unique setting for a destination wedding in the Azores.

And finally, as anyone who knows me will understand, my favourite part, the party. From traditional dancing to the DJ, entertainment and bar, it was an absolute celebration.
