hello, i’m nuno!
I live in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. I’m a first-generation millennial, a documentary wedding photographer and someone who’s genuinely fascinated by people and their stories.
I love capturing moments exactly as they happen, honestly and naturally.
Away from the camera, I’m quite happy with the simple things, listening to music loudly (jazz is my weakness), wandering alone in nature with my headphones on, visiting museums, going for a run, or doing sport as a kind of therapy.
I’ve always been shy, and, truth be told,
I still am most of the time. But photographing weddings has pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me how to connect with people. I much prefer one-to-one conversations to big groups, and I’m quite an empathetic person.
I genuinely like understanding how others feel.
I’m vegetarian, neurodivergent, and have always been mostly self-taught. Music, vinyl records and nature are my main refuges, and a calm, focused life is what keeps me balanced. Social media? Not really my thing, but the job sort of requires it, eheh. At the end of the day, I simply love what I do and do it with passion… and the rest of the time, I just try to enjoy life.

The thing is:
I really love my work.
I do. Can’t help it. I’ll do anything I can to make you feel at ease on your day. I’ll take the time to understand who you are and what matters to you. I’ll do my best to make every guest comfortable with my presence, and that let’s me be close and capture some really special moments, from the goofy ones to the very heartfelt ones.
Most of the couples I photographed tell me
having me at their wedding felt just like
having any other friend, and that makes me so happy!
